FIRST BLOG

Hi. My name is 'Lolu Akinwunmi, and this is my first blog site. Over time, I intend to use it to start and manage a relationship with people like you. But first, who am I? I am a Nigerian, male, and I make my living from marketing communication, which I have done for about 25 years. I manage the Nigerian office of Ogilvy and Mather the global advertising agency; in Nigeria we are known as Prima Garnet Ogilvy.

I am passionate about many things and very passionate about a few. I am passionate about my profession, and I suppose I should since this is all I have done since I left the university in 1980. I am passionate about books and read across many channels. I am passionate about music and enjoy it across genres. I am passionate about travels and see each trip as a key learning process. I am passionate about people and relationships. I am very passionate about my faith, Christianity. I am very passionate about my country Nigeria and my people, and know we are perhaps the most misunderstood people in the world. I am very passionate about justice and equity and nothing breaks my heart faster than to hear or witness any case of abuse or injustice.
